Where to meet your driver at Suvarnabhumi Airport

Suvarnabhumi is a big airport, but the way from your plane to your driver is simple. Here is what happens after you land, and where to find us.

Before you fly: the digital arrival card

Foreign visitors to Thailand need a Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC). It replaces the old paper arrival form, it is free, and you fill it in online at tdac.immigration.go.th within the three days before you arrive. Keep a screenshot of the confirmation on your phone.

1. Immigration

Follow the signs for Arrivals and Immigration from your gate. The queue at passport control can take a few minutes or close to an hour, depending on how many flights land at the same time. Give us your flight number when you book, so your driver can check when your plane actually lands.

2. Baggage claim

After passport control, find your flight on the screens to see which belt your bags arrive on. Free luggage trolleys are available in the baggage hall.

3. Customs

Walk through the green channel if you have nothing to declare, or the red channel if you do.

4. The arrivals hall on level 2

Customs opens into the public arrivals hall on level 2. The exits are numbered, and drivers holding name signs wait along the barrier outside them. Your Orange Taxi driver waits here with a sign showing your name. We send you the exact meeting point on WhatsApp before your flight, so you know which exit to look for.

Many drivers meet passengers between Exits 3 and 4, near the airport information counter. If you cannot see your driver straight away, stay inside the arrivals hall and message us on WhatsApp or LINE.

Useful things in the arrivals hall

  • SIM cards: the mobile networks have counters in the arrivals hall, handy if you want mobile data before you leave the airport.
  • Cash: there are ATMs and exchange counters in the arrivals hall. Many travellers find better exchange rates on the basement level, near the Airport Rail Link.
  • Taxi offers: people may come up to you offering taxis or hotel transfers. If you have booked with us, say no thanks and look for your name sign.

After you meet your driver

Your driver helps with your bags and walks you to the car. From the airport it is about an hour and a half to two hours to Pattaya, depending on traffic. You pay the fare in cash, in Thai baht, when you reach your hotel.

See the fixed fare for every car on our fare board, or book on WhatsApp.
